This circuit tester is a really useful tool to have when working on vehicles. It makes diagnosing electrical problems much easier. The voltage testing, circuit probing, and component activation features all work great and save a lot of time when tracking down issues. The long 20ft + 20ft cables are a big plus because you can reach anywhere around the vehicle. Solid build quality and very easy to use. Great tool for anyone doing automotive electrical work.

We ordered this tool because two of our vehicles have a significant amount of technology and electronic components, and we wanted something that would allow us to check basic electrical issues before taking them to a mechanic for minor concerns. Haven't had the chance to use it yet but it looks like excellent quality. I will update if I have any issues with it

I got this tester to quickly diagnose electrical issues in my vehicles without needing bulky equipment. Great tool. Works perfectly. Good quality. Must have tool to have if you own an RV or boat.

Easy to use. Works wonderfully and clearly. The instructions are clear and well pretty straightforward. The size is just adequate and easy to hold.

This Automotive circuit tester seems to work well and allows the user to probe live circuits or to apply voltage into a circuit. This circuit tester features battery clamps that will fit on a variety of battery terminals. With the battery clamps attached, the user can easily probe circuits. When the circuit tester probes a negative wire or terminal, the tester will display a green LED. When the circuit tester probes a positive wire or terminal, the tester will display a red LED. This circuit tester can also be used to apply a positive or negative voltage into a circuit by probing the circuit and operating the switch. After testing the circuit tester, I found that the tester seems to work well and functions as expected. The wide voltage range (4V – 24V DC) allows this circuit tester to be used on a wide range of circuits, not just automotive circuits. This circuit tester will be a handy tool for troubleshooting automotive electrical issues. It’s simple, easy to use, and a very effective tool.

Good basic circuit tester. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.It is easy to use and has been reliable for me so far.I do wish they had included a little carry case.I recomend this product.

Great product

This robustly built tester is good for modern EV's as well as internal combustion engines. It can be powered by a 12V or 24V battery as are common in gasoline and diesel engines, or anything up to 80V which will work for many EV's. And it can measure 8 to 32 volts, sufficient for all ICE engines and some work in EV systems.

There is the meter and probes. For power there's a very long cable which you can terminate either in alligator clips or cigarette lighter insert. These parts are well made. The probe is single, so it's referenced to the same ground as the power input. There are several testing modes, for voltage, resistance and current. The current testing even shows the waveform. You get a lot with this tool.

This is very nice. It comes with the connector to hook up to the battery to power the circuit the tester. It has a long cable to reach from the front of the car to the back. It has the ability to by pass the ignition and start the car. It is compact and is an essential tool to trace any short or circuit. The quality is great and well worth your money.

Really pleased with this makes troubleshooting much easier. You have to read the instructions to really understand all its capabilities, but it really does a lot. You can power circuits check for ground. Check for hot just to name a few.

This test probe functions just like a typical test light but with some excellent additional features.You can test for ground and power without having to move your aligator clips. The light blows red for positive & green for negative allowing you to hook it up and check for ground faults & open circuits easily.The probe has a nice precision point that should allow access to even the smallest fuses and into the rear of your electrical connectors.The instructions are obviously translated (poorly) from another language so I'm not exactly sure of how it works beyond being a test probe & continuity tester, but that's all I need it for.It has a reasonably long cable for most tasks & feeks well made.They claim that the handle is "very soft & sweat absorbent" & the edge of the handle is designed to fit perfectly in the palm of the hand. Lol this claim is so false but I will simply chalk that up to another poor translation.Overall it is a good circuit tester & replaces your standard auto test light with some handy additional features.

Handy, light, basic investigation tool. I'm new to fixing my own old truck and thought this might be an enhancement to my multimeter. I think I'll find the continuity detector the most helpful and to see where issues are leading to blown fuses, etc. It does multiple things, which will likely prove handy as I try to diagnose/repair more myself.Reading others' reviews, I don't trust that it will always trip when it's supposed to? And I'm also slightly unsure about adding positive power charge to elements when I'm not sure what they're connected to or exacywhat I'm doing. I need more experience and to learn its ins and outs over time.-I reduced a star because the cables leading to the clamps and alligator clip are tiny. Their soldered attachment terminals must also be tiny and I worry that they'll come loose over time and it will not diagnose accurately. The main battery clamps are also a thin metal with quality improvement to be desired.

This circuit tester works as expected and accurately detects both positive and negative 12v power. It lacks a display and some of the features of more expensive power probes, but that's ok - it's still a good value for what you get. My only complaint is no warranty at all after 30 days. I'm not a fan of disposable tools.

this tool saved me a lot of troubleshooting timeit is possible to verify faulty circuit in many ways with clear instructions from the manual !the 13' cables makes it easy to work faulty wires in the back of the vehicle while plugged in the fuse box or battery terminals !working voltage is from 12 to 24and you got reverse polarity button wich is really interesting!you must have this tool to help you solve electrical problems

Decent tester for checking for electrical issues with your vehicle. This device is easy to use to help locate problems with voltage whether it’s in a vehicle or a low voltage circuit. This tester is fairly well designed with good quality components all made to help aid in diagnosing minor electrical issues.

Works and was cheap. What I expected.

This thing got beat up in shipping, so the clamps were bent, but that's hardly the product's fault.The device itself works as advertised. There is a switch on the front that allows you to check the color for positive or negative, and using the probe worked as it should. The continuity tester also worked well. I even tried that function and pressed the switch (I don't recommend) and it sounded like there was a cutout to prevent the device from shorting, so that was good.The build quality feels really decent, with the exception of the alligator clamps. They're quite cheap, and the colored guards fall off easily.Overall, this thing seems perfectly fine for a garage warrior. I could see myself using this a fair bit.

Power probes are typically more expensive than this one. Although the quality suffers some when compared to others the price is very good for the product.The quality isn't bad by any means. It feels solid.The cables are a good length. Not so long they get tangled up everywhere but long enough to reach most of the engine bayThe clamps are your typical cheap clamps. They work but will bend easy and get deformed.Overall above par for price and worth buying.

tester works very will. cig lighter power plug quit working after one use, which creates a pain using it inside my van. Not happy with that bit of very cheap construction but will work around it. just hope that was the only cheap part of the item and that other parts wont crap out when I need them.

Works well. I really like that I can test the circuit or apply power or ground for testing. This makes troubleshooting a lot easier! Get one for your tool box.
