I bought some aftermarket sensors and 1 found a leak due to a faulty valve core, and then all a sudden the TPMS message and light wouldn't go away after the issue was fixed! I bought the 315MHz TPMS Sensor, Tire Pressure Monitoring System Sensor - Compatible for Lincoln MKT MKZ MKS 2011-2014, for Ford F-250/F-350/F-450/F-550 Super Duty 2010-2014 - Replace Part DE8T-1A180-AA Set of 4 by YOLLKY. My issue happened the same day of tire install unfortunately. After looking around and asking questions to the bot here, it sounded like this was my best choice. Thanks also to BritTexan who left a review here for assuring me I had made the right purchase. I was still anxious not knowing 100% if it would work, but it did! Awesome!! I watched the 07-14 Mustang TPMS: How To Reprogram Mustang Tire Pressure Monitoring System on YouTube which really helped me figure out how to put my car in TPMS Learning Mode. Wow am I relieved what an ordeal!

I get satisfaction performing maintenance on my vehicles. Oil change then tire rotation. Without this TPMS relearning tool, the vehicle couldn't report the correct tire pressure in the correct location. GM took the old and easy function out of the software somewhere after 2012. Not a ad thing because it required a lot of extra time and effort. The tool performed perfectly in under a minute. I'll use it twice a year, but its already paid for itself.

I CHANGED ORIGINAL STEEL WHEELS ON MY 2014 FORD TRANSIT CONNECT, FOR MUCH NICER AND BETTER PERFORMING ALLOY WHEELS ON PHOTO. AFTER COUPLE HOURS OF DRIVING TPMS LIGHT GET ON DASHBOARD WITH THE MESSAGE FAULTY TPMS SENSOR. I BROUGH MY VEHICLE TO AUTHORIZED FORD DEALER WHO MADE STATEMENT THAT SENSORS ARE NOT PROGRAMABLE OR THEY ARE DEAD. I CONTACTED PEOPLE FROM WHICH I PURCHASSED THE WHEELS AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL SEND ANOTHER SET OF TPMS SENSORS AND CONTACTED FORD DEALERSHIP TO INSTALE THEM FOR ME.I GET REALLY FRUSTRATED WITH THE FACT, THAT I WILL SPENT ANOTHER COUPLE HOURS OF WAITING TIME AT DEALERSHIP LOUNGE(DOING NOTHING!). SO AFTER I DID SOME RESEARCH, I PURCHASSED THIS DEVICE. I FOLLOWED CLOSELY THE INSTRUCTIONS AND AFTER 3-4 MINUTES I SUCCESSFULY "RETRAINED" NEW TPMS SENSORS ON ALL FOUR WHEELS. DASH BOARD NOTIFICATION AND ANNOYING RED LLIGHT DISAPEARED, MAKING ME VERY HAPPY THAT I SAVED LOTS OF TIME TO GET THE PROBLEM FIXED.HIGHLY RECOMEND, THANK YOU AMAZON.

Pros:- quick connection to sensor and car- easy to use- instructions provided- no issues with battery life- product feels durable if dropped but I did not test it- tire pressure was immediately displaying on car’s screenCons:- instructions were slightly off for Ford’s and the instructions were not proof readOverall:I would for sure buy this again if I needed another one. The instructions weren’t perfect but they were good enough to get the job done. For my car in particular, I had to put the sensor against the rim behind where the valve stem is instead of the tire wall like the instructions show. See my photo of placement location.

Was super nervous to buy because reviews said it wouldnt work with universal sensors but these two together for my 2019 ford explorer paired great!

This tool works and it is easy to use. Below I outline the steps for a 2016 Colorado. See pics after reading steps.I was able to reset my sensors in under a minute. First step is to press white button on device and make sure light is lit for “G” for GM. If “F” for Ford lights up hold white button again for over 2 seconds until “G” lights up.Step 1Ignition on with motor off.Step 2Navigate to tire pressure menu.Step 3Hold Check mark until horn beeps.Step 4Place tip of tool on front driverside tire touching the tire and 1 inch to the left of stem. Press white button once, your cars horn will sound. Wait until the light turns off before next step.Step 5Repeat in this order. After Front Driver, Front Passenger, Rear Passenger lastly Rear Driver waiting each time for your cars horn to honk and LED on tool to turn off.Step 6When you are done with the Rear Driver side tire horn will honk several times, you are done.If this fails your tire may be to low and you should have the recommended tire pressure or more before you begin. The tool does not come with a 9v battery. Plan on having one available before you may use it.

This does just what I needed it to do. Used it on a 2015 Cruze and a 2012 Malibu. Worked well with both , despite the bad grammar and spelling errors on the box lol(check the photo).Like before be sure tires are aired to proper pressure and follow programming instructions for the car and by all means be sure your sensors use the frequency listed for the model of TPMS tool.Yes it will help you to "relean" your car or "releaning" and "tested" it.😁👍

Worth the investment to have on hand to help yourself or others- I was quoted $500 for a tire shop to do the TPMs change and reprogrammingSay what??Amazon had the 4 sensors for $24!! And this sensor programmer for $12 and I did them myself with a friend’s tire machine thankfullyMake sure you have it on the Ford setting on the programmer (holding it down for 5 seconds will switch to either G or F)For my ford 2016 I had to do the (brake pedal/ignition cycling 3 times to go into the programming mode (truck will honk twice) and then going to each tire and point it in the right place press the button (don’t hold it down) and it will honk once within 1-2 second time frame and then move on to the next tire and do the same(FL/FR then RR/RL)

I've used this hundreds of times on Chevrolet and GMC cars, trucks, and SUV's, and I finally got a chance to use it on a Ford Explorer. It has worked great, and several coworkers have stopped using their TPMS relearn tools and ask to borrow mine.After putting the vehicle in tire relearn mode, every so often, there's a longer delay between pressing the button on the tool and hearing the beep from the vehicle, but it has always been resolved by repositioning the tool, wiggling the valve stem, or replacing a faulty TPMS sensor.After about a year, I have not had any issues with this tool, and I only just recently replaced the battery for the first time. I am very pleased with this tool, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who works with Chevy’s or GMC’s (or even Fords) who want a dependable TPMS relearn tool.

At first I was going to send this back. It appeared it didn’t work. I only had one sensor go bad so I changed that. I was told I only needed to change one but tool never worked. Then I changed all of them. Then I used tool and it worked great!

The F and G were backwards. I had it set on F for my Ford F-150. It didn’t work. Set it In the G and it worked.

I bought this for my 2005 Ford Expedition and I tried multiple times to program the tpms in the ford setting and it would not work. I was becoming very aggravated so I said what the hell let me try it in the GM setting and it worked. I tried it multiple times to make sure that it wasn’t a fluke and it worked every time in the GM setting. I can not say if it will work on every ford in the GM setting but it definitely worked on my expedition. I held the tool like I did in the pic.

[March 2025 - My review of "OBDResource 2IN1 TPMS Relearn Tool Super EL50448 for GM and for Ford Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor TPMS Reset Tool 2025 Edition"]We have a 2011 Ford F150 Platinum, and for several months the TPMS error message had been on the dashboard display every time we started the truck. Our research showed that the message could simply be due to a dead/dying battery (apparently they last roughly five years)I confess - we're cheap. Genuine Ford TPMS units are over $50 each, so I took a chance on much less expensive ones from Amazon: "9L3Z1A189A TPMS Sensors, 315MHZ Pre-Programmed Tire Pressure Sensor for Ford F150 F250 F350 F450 F550 2009-2016 Escape 2009-2019 Fusion 2010-2016 for Lincoln MKX MKC 4pcs" The brand: ISINLASSO...They have various part numbers so be careful which ones you order.They're supposed to be pre-programmed, and a set of four is only $24.59 at the moment (March 28, 2025) which seems about average for non-OEM units. When we had new tires fitted a few weeks ago we got the fitter to replace the TPMS units as well.Initially, I bought a small gray rectangular TPMS relearn/trainer clicker on Amazon for about $13 because it looked like the ones in 'how to' videos, and it's popular on Amazon with good ratings. Unfortunately, that little gray clicker didn't work on our truck's TPMS units, and I was worried in case the error message wasn't being caused by a faulty sensor in the first place, or I might be forced to buy a set of Ford OEM sensors and pay to have them installed, which would have been annoying, to say the least. Before doing anything rash & expensive, I ordered this very different gadget because it claims to work with Ford and GM sensors.Note - You'll need to install one of the small rectangular 9V batteries with the two terminals on the top, which is a bit inconvenient unless you're battery hoarders like us. However, once that's done, the instructions explain how to put various vehicles into the required 'Tire Training Mode' before using the gadget.There are several 'how to' videos attached to this product's Amazon page, and various YT videos show you how to do it as well.Hubby was able to do the TPMS retraining in about five minutes. It would have been even faster but he tried it a couple of times using the Ford setting (for obvious reasons!), which didn't do anything. However, the instructions said the GM setting works on some Ford F150s, so he tried the GM setting once and it worked immediately! No more TPMS error message anymore. Yay!The VERY short version:This Ford/GM TPMS training gadget worked for our non-OEM TPMS units on our 2011 Ford F-150 Platinum, using the GM setting, not the Ford one. So, if you're having no luck with the Ford setting, I recommend trying the GM setting before returning the gadget!

Jus placed the new 9v battery (not included) in the tool, and followed tools' instructions for specific vehicle manufacturer, and worked as intended; flawlessly!Initial tool programing, just click the button, tool's; green GM, and yellow Ford light both flash two times; press again, Green light flashes two times, meaning ready for GM TPMS relearn. Just follow each vehicles' relearn instructions and the tool work flawlessly. Usually start: 1st driver side front, press/keep tool button about 5 second, hear one car horn beep; 2nd passenger side front same tool procedure, one car horn beep; 3rd passenger side rear, same tool procedure, one car horn beep; 4th driver side rear, same tool procedure, but in this last wheel TWO car horn beeps; Relearn complete! In the case of GM vehicles, instructions to hold the tool against the tire, are different than Ford pay attention to very specific and I repeat, different tool's position for either GM or Ford. For GM, hold tip of tool against rubber surface of tire, by edge of rim, next to the valve stem area, and hold the tool parallel to the valve stem again hold tip of tool in contact to the rubber surface for steadiness (SEE PICTURE ATTACHED to this review). Just worked first time in a few seconds each; this tool is now a very convenient part of my tool box. Saves you an unnecessary trip to a Dealer to get your money for such a simple task easily done by this smart device!
