I recently purchased the 2026 Version EL-50448 GM TPMS Relearn Tool, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. UPDATED REVIEW (4-Stars):Today I finally got a 9V Battery and try this tool out. WORKED GREAT AND AS ADVERTISED. All you need to do is to put the vehicle (Colorado ZR2 in my case) on TPMS Learn Mode — look up a how to video for your specific model. Once that is active START AT THE LEFT FRONT TIRE (driver), then RIGHT FRONT / RIGHT REAR / LEFT REAR. You will hear two honks when TPMS Learn Mode is activated, one honk per tire and two more honks once it’s completed. SUPER EASY TOOK LESS THAN 5 MINUTES.——[Initial Review]Off the bat starting with 3 stars due to failure of telling buyer that YOU WILL NEED A 9V BATTERY and it’s not included. The problem is not so much it’s not included, it’s that it doesn’t clarify that in the description. So now I have a tool, ready to use but no battery — so I have no tool. I will edit review once I actually get to turn on and use it. I will say the size is nice. I was expecting a tiny little thing and it’s definitely a good handheld size.
Got the tool put a new battery in it and wouldn’t work I couldn’t figure out why. Before returning it I decided to try a different battery even though it wasn’t letting me know that the first one was low and it worked it was very easy to use after the second new battery. I guess the low battery led on mine just doesn’t work and I got a bad new battery.
Only needed to use it once so far, but it worked first time, no problems.Took off one star for lack of a low-battery LED. The circuit board doesn't even have a connection for it. Compare the upper left and upper right corners of the photo.
At first I didn't think this was working. Tried to pair my oem 350z wheels and wouldn't work. I had another set of used 315mhz sensors from my sentra and they paired as well as my new sensors installed into my bmw wheels. Apparently my oem 350z sensors died.
Last time my tires were rotated, the TPMS was not reset. I didn’t realize this until I needed to air one up and found it was not filling up.I finally grew tired of having to guess which tire was where and stopped by the shop where I last had them serviced. The employee told me it was going to be $60 to fix the issue and each sensor was $80 if it was not working. I thanked him for his time and left quickly.This $7 tool fixed my issue in under a minute. The hardest part about it was remembering to buy a 9v battery for it. Saved me time and money doing it on my own.
